Do not send us a jump video unless we ask for one. Dunkable is built so your footage stays on your phone, and we would rather keep it that way.

Measuring

It keeps telling me to go again

Dunkable rejects a rep rather than guessing at it. The usual causes are your feet leaving the frame at the top of the jump, a busy or low-contrast background behind you, or poor light. Move the phone back, get your whole body in frame with room above your head, and try somewhere brighter.

It says my rep was not clean

That is the technique guard. Pulling your knees up mid-air keeps your feet off the floor longer and fakes hang time, so Dunkable checks your legs are long at take-off and landing. Land the way you took off and the rep will count.

My number is lower than the one I got at the gym

It should be. Jump-and-reach tests include your heel rise, your reaching arm and usually a run-up. True Vertical includes none of that, so it reads roughly 4 inches lower for most people. Nothing is broken. There is a fuller explanation on the home page and inside the app under How we measure.

The phone will not stay steady

Dunkable checks for movement before it records, because a moving camera moves the floor line. Lean the phone against something solid rather than holding it, and give it a second to settle.

Training

Something hurts

Report the pain in the session log and the programme will back off on its own. If it does not settle, stop and see a physio or a doctor. Dunkable is a training app, not a medical one.

I cannot do one of the exercises

Skip it, or override it for good in the exercise settings. The programme works around what you have told it about your equipment, your training history and your injuries.

My programme is not getting harder

Drills step up when you finish them cleanly two sessions running. Three weeks build and the fourth banks the work, so a lighter week is the plan doing its job.

Your data

How do I delete everything?

Delete the app. Everything Dunkable stored was on your phone, so it goes with it. There is no copy on a server, because there is no server.

Can I move my history to a new phone?

Restoring a new iPhone from an encrypted iCloud or Mac backup brings the app's data across. Dunkable has no sync of its own, so a fresh install with no backup starts empty.

What do you collect?

Nothing. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Other things

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Android is on the roadmap. Measuring from video needs the camera to behave predictably, and that takes calibration work per device, so there is no date until it measures as well as the iPhone version does.
